Chris (Xiaodong) Zhao earned his doctoral degree from the University of Iowa prior to joining Hong Kong Baptist University in 2021. His research focuses on corporate disclosure, capital markets and accounting standards. His work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Accounting Research and Management Science.
